Subs

SUBS ARE CURRENTLY SET AT £12 PER MONTH for beavers, cubs and scouts All PAYABLE VIA STANDING ORDER.

We believe this is fantastic value for money, especially when you consider everything the sections offer.

Their first month is on the house, to make sure your is happy and enjoying themselves before committing. At some point over their first few weeks, you’ll receive bank details from us, asking you to set up the standing order.

Subs are all managed through our accounts software and Online Scout Manager.

This method also allows us to easily collect Gift Aid too, this is where the government gives our group an extra 25p, for every £1 you give us – All we need from you is to fill-out a short Gift Aid form when it's email to you.

So where do subs go?

Capitation

Every year we must pay £52 per young person to cover National, County and District Subscriptions.

This also includes insurance for members.

Activities

Certainly not last, and the most important.

We spend subs on running awesome activities and Thursday nights for our members.

Vehicles

Something new to our group our minibus – which allows us to easily get out when we want to.

But of course, the insurance, fuel and maintenance come at a cost.

Building

We own our building, therefore all the running and maintenance costs fall down to us alone.

We monitor our running costs and work hard to do as much maintenance as possible ourselves to keep costs down.

Leaders?

Nope! Not a single member of our Leadership Team or Exec committee are paid.

They all volunteer their time. All the time.
