This Tuesday :
In your groups you will be making an omelette dish. We will provide the eggs and basic cooking equipment. Any toppings, sides or special equipment you must bring from home.
Teamwork – ensure everyone is included and everyone has an input
Toppings – cheese, onion, smarties
Sides – salad, toast, icecream
Properly cooked eggs – no icky clear white goo
Presentation – served in jars/ on wooden boards/ elevated with cocktail sticks
Hygiene – ensure yourselves and the equipment you are using is clean!

Sheaf Scout Splash
Dive into a real challenge!
Sunday 19 th November 2017 – 6.30 to 8.00pm
Graves Swimming Pool off Bochum Parkway S8 8JR
Back by popular demand and aimed at all Scouts, the fantastic Sheaf Scout Splash is a full hour of fun pool activities and challenges with the emphasis on team work.
Note: Goggles are generally permitted, but may be barred in specific events for safety reasons.
Participants must be able to swim confidently in the deep end.
Qualified Lifeguards will in attendance throughout this event.
The fun starts at 6.30 –don’t be late!

Firstly, thank you to all of you who helped out at the bonfire night. It was a great night 🙂 hope you all had fun.
Secondly, this Tuesday is Eagles patrol night…
there are meat sausages leftover – I will buy some vege sausages. Please design a night to use these up.
Please come to the hut for 5.45 to find out where you will be helping and what you need to do.

This Tuesday the 24th is the last chance for the scouts and their family and friends to take up the opportunity to buy tickets for 74th’s Bonfire Night event. Please bring money in a sealed envelope.
If you have already taken this fantastic opportunity your tickets are waiting for you at the hut so please ensure that you come collect them.
Furthermore, if you would still like to give a prize for the raffle/tombola at this event please bring it down to the hut with you.
Starting from the hut just past 7pm you will be searching for QR codes using a map. It’s a bit like orienteering.
Neckers only and wear layers appropriate for the weather.

We will be meeting at The Walled Garden at 12.30 and collection will be at 3pm. If you need to leave earlier or if parents want to join us that is fine, just keep me informed. Neckers are to be worn along with clothes appropriate for gardening and the weather.

This Sunday the scouts are invited to help out at this fun event at the Walled Garden in Meersbrook park. Times are still tbc.
At this event we help pick and press the apples. Who needs more! The more the merrier!
